Thanks to all who replied.
I have discoved this is NOT an issue.
After testing on a non-prodction system I learned that even if the log
file is 32767 the RSH commands still perform as desired. So unless I
need log files for trouble-shooting I can just leave it. I have set
the file version limit to 10 so no worries after all!
BTW - this is true for net$server.log as well.
