It reveals that the first batch of NVAX was in 1991, and were the
fastest CISC processors at that time. (71 to 90Mhz a a 0.75 micron
process). NVAX+ was pin compatible with Alpha EV4. (this was used for
the VAX 7000 which could be "in cabinet" upgraded to an Alpha.)


The second batch of the NVAX+ came out in 1994, up to 143Mhz @ 0.5
micron process)

NVAX had a power dissipation of just 18 watts. The above page, written
by Bob Supnik seems quite authoritative as he was involved in that.
