Tom,

a MACHINECHK crash is most likely a hardware error. Extract the errlog
info from the dump with:

$ ANAL/CRASH sys$system:
SDA> CLUE ERRLOG
SDA> EXIT

This command creates a SYS$SCRATCH:CLUE$ERRLOG.SYS file. You need to
run this file through DECevent or (as this is a DS10) with SEA (System
Event Analyzer - part of WEBES) to decode the associated errlog entry.

Forget ANAL/ERR/EVL - it won't translate those errors for you.
