   You probably can, see the pointers to writeups that others have
   posted.

   And if you have a second NIC, you can connect back to the Mac OS
   host.  Lots of Macs, both laptops and desktops, have both wired 
   and wireless, which is two NICs if you have a wireless access point
   somewhere on your wire.
