Nowadays it builds "out of the box" on the mac. And if you use macports
it takes care of downloading, patching and moving the things where
corresponds ;) (it renames the executables to simh-xxxx).

BYW, I haven't upgraded SIMH for a time and I have the vague memory of
having read that it does not include the CPU firmware files anymore. I
don't think it would be difficult to find them tough.
