[Info-vax] Whither VMS?

What does the size of a word have to do with the whole discussion?
Or do you think that 32 bit Unix should have been created before
there was a machine to run it on?   I guess a good question would
be was VMS officially released before the first VAX implementation
of Unix was competed?

And where in the above statement did I say Linux is Unix?  If you
read here often you would know that I have always stated that Linux
is an inferior attempt to clone Unix.  I was merely point out that
the average person in this industry today places little value on
research and thinks younger is better.
