   The answer is "HELP SET ON".  And please find your usenet client
   settings and tell it plain text instead of mime.  I see a string of
   9 characters where I suspect you typed a '.

   Oh, if its a MS client, turn off "smart" quotes, too.  They're
   helping you look dumb, which is probably not your fault.
