and their subdirectories.  Best to compare results with a
(brainless) command-line FTP client.

   Additional problems arise with the TCPIP FTP server when
it's used with an ODS5 disk.  (For example, it won't always
accept the file names it provides in its LIST output.)  I
don't have one of those arranged right now, but it could be
done.  You might take a look at the VMS-adapted wget code for
some LIST-parsing hints.
