Yes I remember it well. We were surprised when the RSX environment
became a layered product - at V4.0 IIRC. I believe it became a
separately licensed product circa V5, by which time we'd had ample time
to convert the last few compatibility mode programs to native mode.
(I think we'd already done that by V4.0, but not everyone had.)
