[Info-vax] MicroVAX/VMS newbie, couple of questions

Hi,
I picked up a MicroVAX 3400 system running VMS 5.4 a few weeks ago and
spent some time figuring out the basics (quite a bit of a learning
curve) and getting it running and online with a copy of CMUIP I found
floating around. I've gotten it telnettable and FTPable (thanks to
CMUIP including those,) but I'm wondering if there's a simple HTTP
server around that'd run on 5.4. I saw one that works with DECthreads
(on VMS 5.5+ I guess?) but I haven't tried it since I don't see that
it's supposed to be compatible. Obviously a newer version of VMS
might make things easier for me, unfortunately it's a DSSI system and
the only media it'll take is a tape, and I'm not even sure the tape
drive is working (no tapes to test with.)
I also stumbled across a couple of sites mentioning HECnet, that
sounds like fun. Anyone here play with that at all?
Thanks for any pointers you may be able to provide.
