JF, where did you get that description for the Proliant (44789-B21)
drive? It confirms my suspicions (starting with the Proliant
quickspecs) that the drive in question will write CDs but is read-only
for DVDs, which may not be what Mr Santos wants. I have a vague
recollection that at one point Proliants were using the same Multibay
technology as was used in CPQ laptops, which might be helpful if
applicable here, though (1) Multibay has afaik gone from current
designs (correction welcome) (2) there's the small matter of whether
the drive is "supported", which may or may not matter to Mr Santos.
