VMS Systems Administrator

We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking an VMS Systems
Administrator on a consulting to possible full time direct employee
basis.  In this role, the individual will be responsible for:

~  Production support role including mid-level VMS system
administration tasks.
~  Monitoring of Job Schedules, identifying problems, and escalating
to development group.
~  Monitoring of Production FTP processes.
~  Movement of application code from Test to Production.
~  Role includes basic VMS system administration tasks, and individual
will be part of a 24X7 on-call support rotation.

The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the
following:


~  OpenVMS System Administration
~  OpenVMS TCP/IP Communications
~  DCL scripting
~  System Logicals & symbols
~  System Dumps
~  User Account Maintenance
~  How executables are created from subroutines, main programs in the
compilation process
~  Maintained a Job Scheduler (Tidal preferred) with several hundred
jobs with timing and other job dependencies.
~  FTP Concepts
~  Knowledge in VMS application programming in Synergy a strong plus.
