Folks, just to give you a bit of a heads up. There are two webcasts
next
week dealing with the 2010 Connect OpenVMS Boot Camp coming up the
third
week of September.

At 14:00 EDT (18:00 GMT) Tuesday 10 August Rob Eulenstein of the HP
OpenVMS
CSC will spend 30 minutes with you talking about his sessions. The
primary
information of the webcast will center on "OpenVMS Host-Based Volume
Shadowing - Read I/Os During A Merge Operation". He will also discuss
in
outline form his sessions on "File System Performance" and "Dynamic
Volume
Expansion".

Then at 11:00 EDT (15:00 GMT) Wednesday 11 August we have a jam packed
hour
of discussion about the Boot Camp. Sue Skonetski and I will layout the
week
and talk about what is different this year. Keith Parris and John
Egolf
both from HP and Kevin Duffy from Oracle will discuss various sessions
they
are presenting or coordinating. Kevin is also sure to talk about the
Oracle
OpenVMS Technical Forum which is co-located with the Boot Camp.

We will also have three past attendee discuss what they have gotten
out of
attending the Boot Camp in the past. At least two of them will be
attending
again this year.
