Maybe that VMS lacks the (proper) tools ?
Maybe that VMS isn't the best platform for
office apps like news-readers ?

The funny thing here is that if you read news using Thunderbird
on a "PC" it's "bloatware", but if the same Thunderbird would
had been ported to VMS, it's OK...
