I found the hard way that the iphone auto quotes and top posts.  I
didn't realise this when I wrote an answer. I realised when I saw the
"sent" message with thunderbird on another machine.

The problem is that top posters often don't even know they are attaching
2 gigs of text below their 2 line response because they doN't see it uin
their window.

What I don't understand however is that they would acxcxept such
messages when their receive them. How the <Fire trUCK> dan they see
exactly what text was added and what text was quoted ?
