Who declared it to be an "English" newsgroup?  The custom is to post in 
English but it's not a absolute requirement.  If you post in Lower 
Slobovian, somebody will reply in almost all cases and, perhaps, even 
provide an English translation for the monolinqual Americans. ;-)
