Interesting that they would go for the PC guy and not mention Ann
Livermore. She seems to have been there forever and have a good grasp of
what HP is.

Also, if HP is to grow to surpass IBM, they need to rebuild their
enterprise business and manage the integration of EDS and whatever else
they purchased for enterprise business.

I find it interesting that there are many sugestions that the "new" CEO
would bring back innovation. This, after HP Labs has been shrunken to a
small image of its former self.

A new CEO might also meet with Intel and change the timing for the
transition from Itanium to the 64 bit 8086. They now have 8086s with 6
cores in them. (even Apple offers them for desktop systems).
