It is probably standard practice for the accountant to state that it has
excluded itself from being considered for the permanent CEO job. But at
the end of the day, if the selection committee fails to find a suitor,
the accountant gets to keep the job, just as in the case of Curly with
Compaq.

However, if the selection committee fails to find a suitable CEO, it is
probably a sign a much greater trouble.

Lets see , there is a list of interesting potential candidates:

Bob Palmer:  scratch and burn HP to the ground.

Sue Skonetski: would bring back great customer focused attitudes at HP.

Michael Capellas: quick, call the M&A bankers to find a buyer for HP !

William Gates Jr:  Quick ! buy pharmaceutical stocks !
		   Mr Våxmän's blood pressure would skyrocket !



Someone like Sue would be great. He charisma would really get customers
to believe in HP's products and services and at the end of the day Wall
Street Casino analysts would come to realise that caring for customers
yields better profits than caring for Wall Street Casino Analysts.
