I was thinking along the same lines this afternoon. Imagine if she
offered her services to oust CEOs that would be otherwise un-oustable ?

Imagine if she had been hired to put Bob Palmer in the same situation
back in 1993, forcing him to resign and forcing Digital to find a real CEO ?

Same for Curly. (although his tenure was too short for such a story to
have much impact).

In reality though, I don't think that she was hired to do this. She and
he were probably smitten with each other, and it is only later that she
realised that she could extract mucho money by blackmailing him.

David Letterman probably had the best way out of this. Call her bluff
and made the story fully public before she can release it.
