Does this mean that 8.4 shipped on Alpha before it shipped on IA64s ? I
thought that some Alpgha customers had already received their 8.4 kits.

Is the delay with the entry class rx2800 due to that machine not
existing yet, or is it a case that VMS 8.4 won't run on it until more
patches are issued to support that specific model ? (or both ?)
