[Info-vax] VMS v8.4 disk corruption

Our VMS v8.4 (Alpha) kit arrived a few weeks ago.  Unlike
with v8.3, the source listings (which are on our contract)
were not included.  Hopefully they will arrive soon.

However, since reading Hoff's warning about disk corruptions
http://labs.hoffmanlabs.com/node/1609 I have been afraid to
install it on the production system, and the test system is
otherwise occupied at the moment.

Is anyone running v8.4?   Alpha or Itanium?   Have you had
any disk corruption problems?
