I don't know where you are but here in the UK any decent DIY shop will
mix you any reasonable colour of paint and will colour match a sample
if you take one in. Normally this is for domestic use but maybe the
better ones may be able to do metal paint too?
What may be more of a challenge is the texture, if the paint isn't
normal "flat" finish. There are paints like Hammerite that have a
textured finish but I don't know if they have a custom colour service.
I know it can in principle be done because back in the days when DEC
UK ran a hardware loan service for potential big customers,
exhibitions, etc, stuff that came back off loan with scratches got
repainted with aerosol paint before going out again. I don't think the
aerosols came from the DEC factory.
