I use public key on my laptops to get into my systems. The key on my system
is stored in an encrypted file system that I must first mount and then use

ssh -i

with the path to the key file. So, even if the laptop is lost or stolen, I
feel relatively safe that they won't use it to get into my systems. If the
lost or stolen should happen, I'm sure I will have plenty of time to remove
the key from the server side.
