The type of error I'm suggesting tends to happen at a HW level where the 
error is transparently "corrected" (in fact at the bus level it isn't really 
even an error) at the bus level.  I'm not quite sure of anything I can 
suggest to look for - perhaps slower than expected performance on a network 
adapter.  Make sure that when they service it they clean the system and 
reseat the cards and check all the cable connections.
