Then I am probably "esotheric"!
I run Personal Alpha on my MacBook Pro. When the Mac goes to sleep, so
go PA and VMS. When everybody wakes up, the Mac still knows the
correct time, but VMS does not.
I have, so far, not been able to fix this using plain NTP. However,
using DTSS and the NTP based time provider with a large MAXERROR, the
clock gets corrected quickly.
DTSS just works. Like NTP, you need a basic understanding how it
works. Out of the box you always get the "Too few servers detected"
message.
