[Info-vax] DCPS v2.7 problem with HP P2055dn printer

Jeremy,

Without intending to start a flame war (far too easy on this list),
please note that HP has not manufactured an Adobe Postscript PDL
printer for eons. I know the 8550 had true postscript, but as far as I
know no recent HP printer runs anything but clonescript.

(Xerox Phasers are reasonable cost printers which have true Adobe
Postcript PDL).

Unless you are doing serious graphics (unlikely from VMS) this will
not make any difference to you. But these printers are often used from
Windows and Mac OS; and if the cleint system is running something like
a page layout program (InDesign or Quark) it could be important.
