Linus stated from the beginning that it wasn't and went to great effort
to prove it. I certainly agree with him. Now, if you are looking for
Unix-like snake oil, that's another matter and describes Linux to a "T".

Depends on what part you look at. Last I heard AIX was still doing
OK. And I think they may be the last of the real Unix's actually
being marketed and sold. As I stateed earlier, the BSD's don't seem
to be interested and get about as much marketing as VMS and we all
know what the result of that is.
