No!  The last time I tried, years ago, VMS+Posix could not correctly 
execute a "configure" script.  Solaris had no problem executing the same 
script.  IIRC it was the configure script for NTPD V3.x.  Someone, I 
have forgotten his name (Wolfgang Muller????) had an NTP distribution 
that would build on VMS.  VMS Engineering subsequently issued a 
supported version of NTPD.
