Anyone interested in using printers not supported by DCPS should take
a look at Northlake Software's PrintKit products. They provide support
for a whole slew of printers, and their user interface is based on the
DecPrint model with extensions and enhancements to support features
that DCPS can't handle. They've been at it for 20+ years.

A number of years ago, back in 2004 I think, I used their product to
support several Xerox Phaser and other printers not then supported by
DCPS. I was very pleased with it.
