We had a dumb cat at the old location who would lie down in front of
the intakes on the old AXP150.  I think the humming of the 'extra'
drive cooling fans, or the vibration of the case soothed him.

Whenever we opened the box (often) we had to blow hair out (why it was
often), and to the day it was decommissioned and given away to a good
home, its exhaust smelled of scented cat litter
