USB handles device connection dynamically - it's the nature of the beast. 
Glad it works for you.

FWIW - There is an update to DNDRIVER in either the V400 update kit for V8.4 
(it might be in the next one...  don't recall) - and in an future V8.3 etc 
kit that will fix a number of configuration issues for random pens and 
HD's - for those who have had issues in the past with random devices - this 
might "fix" them.  Still other things to fix on the list in there - but I 
expect that probably 50-80% of the oddball configuration "hang" errors on 
Pen drives may simply go away.
