Nope. I have been working for a large Canadian telecommunications
company since 1973.

I live in the twin cities of Kitchener and Waterloo (home of the
University of Waterloo, RIM, OpenText, Dalsa, etc.).

Kitchener used to be called Berlin, Ontario and was under virtual
occupation by British troops during World War One. At that time, the
mostly German citizens wisely changed the name to Kitchener (who was
then the British Minister of War)

Now history tells us that Lord Kitchener wasn't a very nice fellow
during the Second Boer War so many people would like to see the name
changed back to Berlin, or New Berlin, or see the city merged with
Waterloo and called Waterloo.
