Yes, there is no substitute for knowing the part number and finding out 
what it is.  Up until now, I haven't run into any HVD stuff, but I want 
to be careful.

Is there any HVD controller which has a VHDCI connector?  Or can I 
safely assume that any VHDCI connector is LVD/SE?  (Presumably, HVD 
controllers exist with all three other common connectors (Centronics 50,
HD 50 and HD 68).)

What is the slowest speed for a controller with a VHDCI connector?
Certainly Ultra-2 (80 MB/s in wide mode) controllers with VHDCI
connectors exist; what about Ultra (40 MB/s in wide mode) or even
slower? 

Alternatively, what is the fastest speed associated with the HD 68 
connector?

(I realise that the connector and the speed are physically independent; 
I'm thinking about what combinations actually exist.)
