I have Andy venerable MicroVAX-II and I'm readying it to drop it off at
the InfoAge Museum. I just opened it up and made sure that none of the
cables worked loss in the trek from Marlborough in Sept. to the proNJ.

It powers up fine and the rear panel's display counts back to A. This,
according to the old manual, is the test for the VCB01. I do not have
a monitor connected or keyboard -- only a BCC08 cable from the console
port to a VT525.

Does anyone recall, does the display and keyboard need to be installed
to get past this or is there a secret? I suppose, if I can locate the
Qbus grant cards, I can remove the VCB01 but I'm looking to leave this
as Andy left it to me.
