I trust I'm not the "lurker" perhaps, however I'll chime in.

Yes, GE purchased IDX Systems, deal closed in 2006. The product lines were renamed under GE's Centricity product line. For example, IDX Flowcast is now Centricity Business and IDX Carecast is now Centricity Enterprise as I recall. I forget on the top of my head what other lines were renamed.

AIX, VMS, HP-UX, MS Windows and Non-Stop were core database OS platforms depending on product.
