Yes, it is/was working.
Just like the old ITRC one.
Means badly. Sloow and unworking search and other annoyances.

Therefore I used ftp.itrc.hp.com solely and for many years. This worked!

Then we were forced to switch to http crap again.

And we were forced to have an VMS support contract now to access vms patches.

Then we were forced to switch to passport login (and migration of the
old itrc account - the one with the support contracts, used to access ecos).

Now you can't google for old (itrc) articles, because every link leads
to the same redirect page to the HP service center (means passport).
And no, I haven't found new good service center articles in google so far.
And no, HP search itself is still unusable.

If you define this as work, then yes, it worked - at least for me & firefox
(you could access ECOs - though the master eco list wasn't updated for
many months - despite its date - and despite the fact, that the last v8.4
eco was last May - and you could create service calls - and you could read
and probably write in the various forii).

But since this week, we can no longer access vms ecos, though we still
have these vms support contracts (all at least up well into 2012).

This all seems to be policy.
HP wants to get rid of customers (as real hp customers only buy at walmart's)

SIGH
