Doesn't your office have a machine room (with KVM switches, perhaps),
where you could have placed it? Not that you didn't find a good
solution down the road, but still.

How is it that one can't use two power supplies: no adequate cabling,
are there different power requirements or are these fans larger, thus
requiring to (perhaps partially) occupy the area where one power supply
would be inserted?
Either way, it's good to hear that one can simply install it oneself
(as an end-user). Do you perhaps have pictures of this kit, or of
your rx2620 with the kit in place?

I've never heard how loud or quiet a DS10 is, or not yet, but that
sounds very good. How does the "Office Friendly" rx2620 compare to
a unmodified rx2600, for instance?
