As per the DS20E quickspec
One additional removable media slot provides support for one 5.25-inch
half-height device; requires SCSI adapter and SCSI cable 3X-BC56C-2F
There are two integrated SCSI adapters on the system motherboard using
an Adaptec SCSI chip set but these ports were never fully supported. I
believe you can use a DAT tape with these adapters if you have VMS 7.1
or higher, TRU64 Unix did not support these two SCSI controllers.
