If buying something more special like Itanium from HP, pSeries
from IBM, SPARC from Oracle customers like to know that they
can invest in software for HP-UX/OpenVMS, AIX, Solaris
and keep using it for many years.

But whether you run Windows and MS Office on a HP PC or
a Dell PC or any other PC does not matter.
