[Info-vax] Problem upgrading to 8.4 on Itanium (from 8.3-1H1)

45 minutes in to the UPGRADE (on bl860c), I get the following message.

I seem to recall seeing somewhere that this can be overruled!!
Can anyone shed light on how I should deal with this.
