I disagree. I think the board is fully aware of VMS, NSK and HP-UX.
Because HP has had to send billions to HP for IA64, this is something
the board would be aware of. And they likely would have been told that
between NSK and VMS, there are a lot of the world's most important stock
exchanges and it would be terribly bad PR for a company trying to
remaike itself as an enetrprise company to pull the plug on such high
profile enterprise customers.

While it is easy to think that HP is aware of the bad PR of pulling the
plug on NSK/VMS/HP-UX, it is not clear how these OS fit in Apotheker,s
"enterprise focus". Is he just apps ?
