[Info-vax] MySQL from OpenVMS BASIC

So, has anyone done the grunt work and produced an interface library
for VMS non-C high level languages to use the MySQL C API that they'd
like to share?  We've got a site interested in having their VMS system
work with a remote MySQL database; they have a BASIC compiler, nothing
else.

I know BASIC can be directly coded to work with the C API, but just
like working with Netlib is much easier than the socket interface from
a not-C language, so would this be too.

Thanks for any info.  I have found reference to a Fortran API someone
wrote and will be looking at that also.
