And when you audit the financial reports filed in the EDGAR database,
you will find Amazon.com is about the last place anyone goes to buy a
book.  Especially when you start totaling up what the makers of Dewalt
power tools, Levi's blue jeans, Splenda sweetner, etc. all itemize as
sales through Amazon and subtract it from their total COG.  It becomes
pretty obvious where Enron's accountants found jobs.  They either sell
24 books and 3 Kindles per year, or.....

I'm actually kind of happy that they are finally taking a swing at
that fraudulent enterprise known as Amazon.  There is a big section of
AARP that only shops at Sears, so, if they are on-line, it will
increase over-all book sales.  Given all of the countries that chain
has a brick & mortar location of one brand or another in, it has to
have _some_ loyal customers, even if the holding company doesn't make
money.
