[Info-vax] : One last backup

It took forever, but we finally got all our applications moved over to our "new" (now 5 years old!) ES47's. I want to take one last backup of a few clusters, but would really like to have them done in our Data Protector environment so that file listings are browseable in DP and possible future restores (if required) are "simpler".

What I want to do is to bring one member from each legacy cluster up on its original system disk, but have it join into our test cluster. The test system nodes have the DP client loaded and can mount the HSG80 based, legacy volumes via MSCP. It will take a while to drag it all over across the network, but we've got time. We will not entertain the idea of putting this array into our enterprise SAN and mounting the volumes directly on the test nodes.

This will be a one time event so I'm not concerned about the typical merging cluster issues - SYSUAF etc. What I am concerned about is the queue manager. How do I avoid the old system (with it's existing queue database) from participating in / messing up the existing Queue scheme? Delete the old legacy database before joining?

Cheers,
Art
