   Not easy enough for some of the victims.  I'm routinely
amazed by how little info some complainers provide.

   I haven't done enough testing yet, but, if you're feeling
adventurous, the following replacement modules seem (at first
glance) to do the job (and to be harmless):

      http://antinode.info/ftp/info-zip/zip30/vms/vms.c
      http://antinode.info/ftp/info-zip/zip30/vms/zipup.h

To get a slightly different program version string (probably
wise):

      http://antinode.info/ftp/info-zip/zip30/revision.h

   (There's other stuff in that tree, too, unrelated to this
problem, but some of it is potentially interesting.)

   Unless problems are found with these new modules, similar
changes should appear in the next Zip beta kit.  Complaints,
especially on these proposed changes, remain welcome.
