Right.  Ingmar Bergman's WILD STRAWBERRIES (while the translation is 
literally not that far off, it doesn't have anything like the 
connotations of SMULTRONSTÄLLET) has Max von Sydow as a station 
attendant.  :-)

(Question to the Swedes here: does the expression "smultronstället" come 
from the film, or was the film named after the expression"?  In other 
words, is this an example of art imitating life, or vice versa?)
