Dear all,

If interested with, here is an article with simple portable code

which deals with UDP multicast sockets. I did find neither on Windows
nor on OpenVMS the equivalent of the -g option of Linux netstat. This
option reveals especially convenient in such case. The always major
problem under Linux is its firewall which caused the Listener code to
not receive the sent data.
