Services that are to be delivered through limited means of distribution
are certainly good candidates for an organization that will not exploit
the monopoly the possess. Many other services are best left to private,
competitive enterprise, such as garbage collection. Unfortunately, the
area in which I live has gone to service areas, awarded by government
exclusively to the company they currently prefer. This amounts to
government sanctioned monopolies.
