The worst part of the snow season is that NJ drivers have little or no
experience of driving in ice and snow! I got my drivers training in
Western Massachusetts with seven to ten inches of snow on the ground.
I know how to drive in snow, slush, and ice.

Frankly, I think I'd be safer in Massachusetts than in New Jersey!
People in Massachusetts generally have some clues about how to drive
in snow, sleet, and ice. Clearly, most NJ drivers do not!

For the curious:
1. Slow down!
2. Add an extra fifty or one hundred feet to your usual following distance!
3. Acceleration is impaired! I'm using "acceleration" in the technical
sense; e.g. rate of change of velocity with respect to time. Recall
that velocity is a *vector* ie. speed and direction of motion.

Just stomp on the brake, wrench the wheel, or punch the throttle and you
might as well kiss your ass good bye!
