I am curious. Are the taxes in the whole state of New York higher  or it
is just taxes and property values in the new york city area which make
NJ more affordable ?

For instance, if you compare cost of doing business in Plattsburg NY,
Rochester and Buffalo NY  to the cost of doing business in Newark,
Jersey City, Trenton, does the comparison still hold ?
